New App Store = Cheaper Apps, Bye Bye CD's

Apple has just launched its Mac Apps Store, with over 1,000 apps available so far.  The Unofficial Apple Welog notes that iLife apps, like iPhoto and Garage Band, can be purchased individually for $15 and can be used on all types of computers.  From the website found here you can check out the new apps that are being designed currently.  The new app store by mac has hopes of increasing apple's sales as well as providing and easier way for customers to get specially designed apps on their computers.  Although the apps are supposadely worth $55, the designers say that they have no plans of incresing prices from the current $15 price that they're at right now
